Programs and Services- Education Department
The Education Department is a new position this year, established to carry out the education goals and objectives and support the implementation of education strategies from each of our eight settlements. The framework supporting the goals and objectives of this position are based on each settlements input into the Tripartite Multi Year Work Plan as well as MSGC’s Interim Conditional Grant Funding Agreement Work Plans. Working as partners with both the provincial and federal government, the education department will act as a liaison and support MSGC education activities as directed by the Portfolio Councilor and the Programs and Services Director. This includes sitting on various education committees within Provincial and Federal bodies as well as providing input and receiving feedback from local school and parent committees, school boards and the MSGC Education Sub-Committee.
