The role of the Land and Resource Department is to manage MSGC’s responsibilities as it relates to land and resources and includes but is not limited to the following:

Administration of oil and gas activity

Policy review and development

Overseeing various grant funded programs (such as the Powley file)

Actively participating in various initiatives that relate to environmental issues

Assisting Settlements in addressing infrastructure issues.
